How to order
It’s really easy to place an order at ToyPro. With the help of the search function or by selecting a (sub) category, size, colour or age group you can easily find what you are looking for. Below we will explain the following themes:
- Search
- Selecting (sub) categories, sizes and colours
- Parts or minifigs of a specific LEGO® set
- Sets for a specific age group
- Placing an order and payment
- Combining orders
You can cancel an order until 14 days upon receipt, free at charge. In case there is a problem , we will of course immediately solve it for you.
Search
All LEGO® parts, sets and minifigs have unique numbers. If you fill out these part numbers in the search box and the article is in stock or temporarily not available, it will be shown on top of the search results. Fill out the desired number and click on the order button to add the article to the shopping cart. If the article is temporarily not available we will send you a message as soon as it is available again. For this, please click on the link “keep me informed”, fill out your e-mail address and click on “Ok”.
You can find the part numbers in the back of the construction manual. You can find them on the part as well, but in order to read them you usually need a magnifying glass.
Many LEGO® parts have several numbers, as LEGO® sometimes carries out small, hardly visible, changes. Besides, there are numbers with and without colour information. In general, short numbers (4 or 5 figures) don’t have colour information, while longer numbers have. If you search by number without colour information the result will be a list starting with identical parts in various colours. If you fill out a number with colour information the desired part will appear on top of the list in the right colour.
Selecting a (sub)category, sizes and colours
If you don’t know the specific part number, you can still easily find it. After all, we have classified all articles into categories, subcategories, sizes and colours.
Suppose, you search a rectangular green brick with four studs on top. First, click on the menu button “PARTS”. Then, you click on “BRICK” on top of the list with categories. The desired brick is a normal brick with 2x2 studs, so click on “normal” in the list with sub-categories and on “2x2” in the list with sizes. The result list is already very short and you will easily find the green brick you are looking for. However, you can filter by colour as well. For this, click on the link “colour” on top of result list and select “green”. There is only one result left: the desired brick! In this example we have used all filter options. It is not necessary. For example, if you don’t know it is a “normal” brick, you only use the filter options “size” and “colour” to find the article.
Parts or minifigs of a specific LEGO® set
Each LEGO® set has an unique number. If you search parts for a specific set and you know the set number, but you don’t know the part numbers, you can still easily find them. Fill out the set number in the search box on top of the page and select the option “Show all results of a LEGO® set”. The result will be a list with all parts of the set and the required number to build the set. Go through the list until you find what you are looking for. Fill out the desired number and click on the order button to add the article to the shopping cart. If the article is temporarily not available, we can send you a message as soon as it is available again. For this, click on the link “Keep me informed”, fill out your e-mail address and press on “Ok”.
You can search minifigs in the same way. The only difference: You select the option ”Show all minifigs of a LEGO® set”.
Sets for specific age group
LEGO® always indicates for what age group the sets are suitable for. Are you looking for a suitable LEGO® set for a child of a certain age, you click on the menu bar “SETS” and select an age group on top of the page. The result will be a list of all suitable LEGO® sets ToyPro has in stock. Select a set, fill out the desired number and click on the order button to add the article to the shopping cart.
Placing an order and payment
As soon as you are ready you can place the order by clicking on the button “Complete order” and follow the instruction on the screen. There are various payment methods. For handling online payments we make use of specialised companies such as Adyen and PayPal, guaranteeing extra security. For example, your credit card number will never be shown.
Merging orders
It might occur you place an order and want to order something else shortly afterwards, which would mean extra shipping costs. We give you the opportunity to combine a new order with a previous order as long as we haven’t started processing the previous order (as soon as we will, you will be informed). You will only pay the shipping- and possible packing costs you would have paid if you had ordered all items at once.
You can combine an order with a previous order one by logging in to your account and then select your previous order in your shopping cart under 'Merge order'.
We don’t make any difference between alternates
Throughout the years, LEGO® has used various production molds to fabricate parts. It resulted into slight differences between parts (the so-called “alternates”). During the construction process with these LEGO parts you usually won’t notice it, as it concerns slight, hardly visible differences. ToyPro no longer makes any difference between these parts. In our assortment you will find both versions, in such case we deliver one of the variants we have in stock, usually the most recent version of the part. If it applies to an article, it will obviously be clearly indicated.
